Ingredients

  • 3 cups biscuit baking mix
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup candied cherries, cut up
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Beat vigorously all ingredients except cherries and nuts for 30 seconds.
  2. Stir in candied cherries and chopped nuts.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 55 to 60 minutes.
