Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 pkg. pistachio instant pudding mix
  • 1 c. ginger ale
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, pistachio pudding mix, ginger ale, eggs, and chopped pecans in a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Allow to cool before adding the topping.
  4. For the topping, mix the cool whip, milk, and remaining pistachio pudding mix together.
  5. Pour the topping over the cooled cake and let set before serving.
