Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 lb. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz. shredded cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/2 stick melted butter
  • 1/2 stick melted butter

Instructions

  1. Spread the frozen hash brown potatoes evenly in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix sour cream, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheese, chopped onion, and 1/2 stick of melted butter until well combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly over the potatoes in the pan.
  4. Mix 1/2 stick of melted butter with bread crumbs, then sprinkle evenly over the top of the casserole.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 1 hour until golden and bubbly.
