Instructions

  2. Add the chicken breasts and cover, cooking until done.
  3. Pour the drippings into a 2-cup measuring glass.
  4. Add water to reach the 1 1/2 cups mark.
  5. Tear the cooked chicken into strips.
  6. Put the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, chopped onion, and chopped celery into a saucepan and stir, cooking on low heat.
  7. Add the stuffing mix, egg, salt, poultry seasoning, pepper, and 1 1/2 cups of the drippings mixture.
  8. Stir until moist.
  9. Add the torn chicken pieces and toss to combine.
  10. Cover and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
