Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 large chopped onions
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 can enchilada sauce
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cans chili beans
  • Fritos
  • Lettuce
  • Grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Combine the cooked beef with one chopped onion, minced garlic, enchilada sauce, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, pepper, and chili beans. Simmer for 2 hours.
  3. On a plate, assemble the dish by layering Fritos, sauce, lettuce, grated cheese, chopped onions, and dried tomatoes.
  4. Top with sour cream and avocado slices if desired.
