Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 (6 oz) package white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup macadamia nuts or pecans, in pieces

Instructions

  1. Beat butter until smooth.
  2. Add white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs; mix well.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mixture gradually, beating until smooth.
  4. Fold in coconut, nuts, and white chocolate chips.
  5. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-8 minutes until golden.
