Ingredients

  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 4 tsp. lemon extract
  • 5 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

  1. Blend butter and sugar together until creamy.
  2. Add lemon extract, sour cream, and eggs; mix well.
  3. Incorporate flour, baking soda, and baking powder; mix until combined.
  4. Chill the dough for 1 to 2 hours.
  5. Roll out the chilled dough and cut into desired shapes.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  7. Cool the cookies and frost with Oriental Frosting.
