Instructions
- Combine the milk, eggs, pumpkin, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a large buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Cut the butter or margarine into the dry cake mix until it resembles coarse cornmeal.
- Sprinkle or spread the crumb mixture over the pumpkin mixture.
- Top with walnuts, if using.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour, until a knife inserted in the center comes out dry.
