Ingredients

  • 1 c. uncooked wild rice
  • 4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. mushrooms
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Combine rice, water, and salt in a pan with a lid.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
  3. Drain well.
  4. In a skillet, cook sliced mushrooms, chopped onions, and celery in butter until tender.
  5. Stir together mushroom soup and whipping cream.
  6. Stir in vegetables and cooked rice.
  7. Bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes.
