Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup wild rice
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 3 cups chicken bouillon broth
  • 1/2 cup long grain rice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients, except broth, in a frying pan and cook until the long grain rice appears a little yellow.
  2. Add the chicken bouillon broth to the mixture.
  3. Transfer everything to a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
  4. Cover and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325°F.
