Wine-Sauced Shoulder Chops

Ingredients
- 8 lamb chops, 3/4 to 1-inch thick ⓘ
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion ⓘ
- 1 (2 oz.) can sliced pimiento, drained and chopped ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon, crushed ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper or pepper ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons olive or cooking oil ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1/2 cup dry white wine ⓘ
Instructions
- Cook the green onion, pimiento, oregano, tarragon, and lemon pepper in hot oil until the onion is tender.
- Combine the cornstarch, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/3 cup cold water.
- Stir the mixture into the onion mixture.
- Cook and stir until the sauce is bubbly.
- Add the dry white wine to the sauce.
- Keep the sauce warm until serving.
