Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups canned whole kernel corn
  • 1 1/2 cups canned lima beans
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup cream or top milk

Instructions

  1. Drain the canned whole kernel corn and lima beans.
  2. Combine the drained vegetables in a double boiler.
  3. Add butter, cream or top milk, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat gently until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve hot as a comforting side dish.
