Mock Almond Roca
A rich, crunchy treat featuring salted caramel, chocolate, and nuts atop a buttery saltine cracker base, perfect for sharing at parties or as a sweet snack.

Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet with foil.
- Butter the bottom of the foil-lined sheet.
- Arrange a layer of saltine crackers on the prepared sheet.
- Bring brown sugar and butter to a boil and cook for 2 1/2 minutes.
- Pour the hot sugar-butter mixture over the crackers and bake at 350°F for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot caramel layer.
- Let stand for 5 minutes, then spread the melted chocolate smoothly over the surface.
- Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
- Cut into bars while warm.
