Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup minced onions
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar processed cheese spread
  • 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen chopped broccoli
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. Saute minced onions in 4 tablespoons of butter until soft.
  2. Stir in flour.
  3. Add water and cook over low heat until thick.
  4. Blend in processed cheese spread.
  5. Combine sauce with thawed, well-drained frozen broccoli.
  6. Add beaten eggs and mix gently.
  7. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  8. Cover with cracker crumbs and dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
  9. Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes.
