Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 lb. ground round
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 (No. 2) cans solid paste tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 lb. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
  • 1 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Saute ground round and pressed garlic in salad oil until browned.
  2. Add tomato sauce, solid paste tomatoes, salt, pepper, and oregano to the meat mixture.
  3. Simmer the sauce for 5 minutes to develop flavors.
