Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can cherry or apple pie filling
  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix (dry)
  • 1/4 lb. margarine or butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a 9 x 13 inch cake pan, spread a layer of crushed pineapple with the juice.
  3. Add the cherry or apple pie filling on top of the pineapple layer.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit layers.
  5. Place thin slices of margarine or butter over the top of the cake mix.
  6. Bake for 48 to 54 minutes until bubbly and golden.
