Ingredients

  • 4 medium pork chops
  • Heinz 57 sauce
  • mushrooms (optional)
  • garlic salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Pour approximately 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a frying pan and heat over medium-high heat.
  2. Place the pork chops in the pan and season each side with garlic salt and pepper.
  3. Pour 1 teaspoon of Heinz 57 sauce on each pork chop.
  4. Cook until the first side is browned, then turn the pork chops over.
  5. Season the second side with garlic salt and pepper, then cover with Heinz 57 sauce again.
  6. Brown the second side for approximately 1 minute.
  7. Lower the heat to simmer.
  8. Add 4 ounces of water to the pan and cover.
  9. Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour, adding water as needed.
  10. Add sliced mushrooms during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
