Ingredients

  • 16 oz can butter beans
  • 16 oz can kidney beans
  • 16 oz can pork and beans
  • 16 oz can Northern beans
  • 16 oz can lima beans
  • 1/2 lb raw bacon
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/2 cup vinegar

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse all canned beans and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the raw bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. Chop the cooked bacon into small pieces.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the beans, chopped bacon, brown sugar, mustard, chopped onion, and vinegar.
  5. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hour or until bubbly and heated through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional bacon if desired.
