Ingredients

  • 8 oz. can refried beans
  • 8 medium ripe avocados
  • 16 oz. grated cheese
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 pkg. taco mix
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 green onion
  • 4 oz. can chopped olives

Instructions

  1. Use a medium ovenproof ceramic dish.
  2. Begin layers with refried beans on the bottom of the dish.
  3. Add mashed avocados on top of the beans.
  4. Sprinkle lemon juice over the avocados to prevent browning.
  5. Mix sour cream and taco mix together, then spread over the avocado layer.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese, chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions, and chopped olives over the top.
  7. Refrigerate if prepared ahead of time.
  8. Serve with tortilla chips.
