Hearty and savory casserole combining seasoned ground beef, noodles, and creamy soup topped with cheese and eggs, perfect for comforting family meals or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. sliced onions
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb. cooked noodles
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Fry sliced onions until tender.
  2. Add ground beef and seasonings to taste; cook until the beef is no longer red.
  3. Layer in a greased casserole dish: one-third of the cooked noodles, half of the meat mixture, half of the soup and milk mixture, another third of the noodles, the remaining meat mixture, the remaining soup mixture, and the rest of the noodles.
  4. Top with grated Cheddar cheese and beaten eggs.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
