Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. hamburger
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1/4 c. diced green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. old fashioned uncooked rice

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger, minced onion, and green pepper in margarine.
  2. Add the undiluted cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and uncooked rice; mix well.
  3. Turn the mixture into an ungreased casserole dish.
  4. Bake uncovered without a topping for 3 to 4 hours at 250° or 275°, or about 3 hours at 300°.
  5. Alternatively, substitute a can of undiluted celery soup for one of the soups if desired.
