Ingredients

  • 16 oz. can green beans
  • 16 oz. can kidney beans
  • 16 oz. can yellow wax beans
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup vinegar
  • 4 slices bacon

Instructions

  1. Drain all vegetables well.
  2. Rinse kidney beans well.
  3. Chop the green pepper and onion into small pieces.
  4. Fry diced bacon until crisp and drain well; do not use grease.
  5. In a large bowl, combine green beans, kidney beans, yellow wax beans, chopped green pepper, chopped onion, black pepper, salt, sugar, vegetable oil, and vinegar.
  6. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  7. Top the salad with crisp bacon bits before serving.
