"Almost" Stuffed Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 2 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, uncooked
  • 1/2 lb. sausage, sliced thin
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a rice cooker.
  2. Set on 'cook' setting. When the rice cooker switches to warm, stir and let it set for 10 minutes.
