Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of amaretto to the sauce while simmering. If you're out of Dijon mustard, honey mustard can be a good substitute. You can also use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier result. Make sure the chicken is well-coated in the flour mixture to achieve a nice crust during browning.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the Amaretto Chicken with a side of rice or roasted vegetables to soak up the delicious sauce. It pairs beautifully with Tomato Rice Soup With Ham for a comforting meal. Garnish with fresh parsley or orange slices for a pop of color and freshness.

Storage & Reheating

Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the chicken and sauce in a skillet over low heat, stirring gently until warmed through. Alternatively, microwave on medium power in short intervals, ensuring the chicken remains moist.
