A hearty casserole blending seasoned ground beef, sausage, creamy tomato and chicken soups, layered with cheese and noodles for a comforting family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 links hot or regular sausage
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can tomato soup (undiluted)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
  • 1 (16 oz.) package egg noodles
  • 1 (8 oz.) processed cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with salt, pepper, brown sugar, and chopped onions in a skillet.
  2. Add undiluted tomato soup to the beef mixture and stir well.
  3. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  4. Mix the cream of chicken soup into the cooked noodles.
  5. Layer the beef mixture and noodle mixture in a casserole dish, placing cheese between layers and on top.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
