Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 5 apples, peeled and sliced thick
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Blend eggs, sugar, and oil with a fork; add dry ingredients and blend.
  2. Add apples and nuts, and mix well.
  3. The dough will be stiff.
  4. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
