Apple Yam Bake

Instructions
- Boil the yams or sweet potatoes for about 15 minutes or until almost tender.
- Peel and slice the yams or sweet potatoes into 1/4 inch thick pieces.
- Use a 2-quart casserole dish.
- Gently toss the sliced yams and peeled, sliced apples together.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the apple juice and cornstarch, then add the brown sugar and lemon juice.
- Pour the juice mixture over the yams and apples, then dot with margarine.
- Cover the casserole and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and stir in the chopped nuts.
- Bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
