Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup apricot jam
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • chopped nuts (amount as desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the butter into the flour and salt to make a pie crust dough.
  3. Divide the dough into two parts and roll out each to about 12 x 10 inches.
  4. Spread each rolled-out dough with apricot jam, then sprinkle with coconut and chopped nuts.
  5. Roll each piece of dough into a jelly roll shape.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
