Tips & Substitutions

For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken cutlets in a mixture of garlic, ginger, and salt for at least 30 minutes before cooking. If you don't have cardamom seeds, try using a pinch of ground cardamom instead. You can also substitute apricots with peaches or plums if they are in season, providing a similar sweetness.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this dish over a bed of fluffy rice or couscous to soak up the flavorful sauce. A light salad with citrus dressing would complement the sweetness of the apricots nicely. For a heartier meal, consider pairing it with roasted vegetables or crusty bread, making it a delightful option alongside Mediterranean recipes.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, gently warm the chicken and sauce on the stove over low heat, adding a splash of water if needed to prevent drying out. Alternatively, you can microwave it in short bursts, stirring in between.
