Ingredients

  • saltine crackers
  • 1 can asparagus
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 stick butter

Instructions

  1. In a medium baking dish, place a layer of crumbled saltine crackers.
  2. Sprinkle half of the grated cheese over the crackers.
  3. Layer the asparagus, cut into bite-sized pieces, and pour the liquid over the cheese.
  4. Pour the cream of mushroom soup evenly over the asparagus.
  5. Add another layer of grated cheese, then a layer of crushed saltine crackers on top.
  6. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
  7. Bake at 350°F until golden brown and heated through, about 35 minutes.
