  1. In a large skillet, brown the pork chops in hot Wesson oil at 375°F.
  2. Remove the chops from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add chopped celery to the skillet and cook lightly.
  4. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  5. Stir in water, tomato sauce, brown sugar, basil, salt, and remaining ingredients.
  6. Add the browned pork chops back into the skillet.
  7. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
