Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease an angel food pan.
  2. Cream together the butter, margarine, and oil until smooth.
  3. Gradually add sugar and well-beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
  4. Add the baking powder and flour, mixing well.
  5. Stir in the milk and all flavorings (almond butter, vanilla, lemon, and rum). Mix thoroughly.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared greased pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before removing from the pan.
