Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 Tbsp. soft butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. vanilla
  • graham cracker crust
  • 1 pt. strawberries
  • 1 pkg. strawberry jello

Instructions

  1. Mix together egg yolks, soft butter, and sugar until well combined.
  2. Add gelatin, softened in cold water, to the mixture.
  3. Heat on low to dissolve the gelatin, stirring constantly.
  4. Beat whipping cream and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  5. Fold the whipped cream into the egg mixture gently.
  6. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust.
  7. Top with strawberries and partially set strawberry Jell-O.
  8. Refrigerate until the pie is fully set and chilled.
