Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger meat
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • chili powder
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 2 1/2 cups grated cheese
  • Hungry Jack flaky biscuits

Instructions

  1. Cook hamburger meat in a frying pan until browned.
  2. Drain grease off the cooked meat.
  3. Return the meat to the stove and add salt, black pepper, chili powder, chopped onion, and tomato sauce.
  4. Add 1/4 cup catsup if desired.
  5. Add 1 can of water with the tomato sauce can.
  6. Stir in 1 cup of grated cheese and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Pull each Hungry Jack biscuit into halves.
  8. Place half of the biscuits in the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  9. Pour the cooked meat mixture over the biscuits.
  10. Arrange the remaining biscuit halves on top of the mixture.
  11. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of grated cheese over the top.
  12. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F until done.
