Ingredients

  • 3 cans whole green beans
  • bacon slices
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup melted oleo
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • dash soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Wrap 6 to 8 green beans in a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  2. Place each bacon-wrapped bean bundle in a rectangular pan.
  3. Mix brown sugar, melted oleo, garlic powder, and soy sauce to make the glaze.
  4. Pour the glaze over the bacon-wrapped beans and bacon.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours to marinate.
  6. Bake in a 350-degree Fahrenheit oven for 30 to 35 minutes until cooked and caramelized.
