Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups thin sliced apples
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Mix sugar, beaten eggs, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, oil, and vanilla in a bowl.
  3. Fold in the sliced apples and chopped nuts into the batter.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
