Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz.) baked beans
  • 1 can butter beans, drained
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 4 slices bacon

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until crisp, then break into pieces.
  2. Saute chopped onions and minced garlic in the bacon fat until translucent.
  3. Add brown sugar, cider vinegar, and dry mustard; cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Combine all ingredients in a bean pot or baking dish.
  5. Bake covered at 375°F for 1 hour.
