Ingredients

  • 8 oz. minced canned clams
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 3/4 to 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a medium nonstick skillet, brown garlic, onion, parsley, and oregano in olive oil.
  2. Add bread crumbs and continue to brown and stir.
  3. Add minced clams and toss to heat through.
  4. Pour in clam juice and toss just to heat.
  5. Spoon the mixture into bakeable half shells.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 25 minutes.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges.
