- Cream together the cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion flakes, pepper, and sour cream until smooth.
- Rinse the dried beef well and cut into small pieces, then add to the cream mixture and combine thoroughly.

- Chop the pecans and sauté them in 2 tablespoons of butter until lightly toasted.
- Sprinkle the toasted pecans evenly over the top of the dip.
