Baked Egg Mornay

- Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a bowl.
- Mash the yolks well and add Miracle Whip, horseradish (optional), and sweet pickle juice or relish.
- Return the yolk mixture to the egg whites and place the filled eggs in a buttered 13 x 9-inch casserole dish.
- In a saucepan, melt 5 tablespoons of butter over low heat.
- Add the flour and stir to combine.
- Gradually stir in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in salt, pepper, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Swiss cheese, and 2½ tablespoons of butter until the cheeses melt and the sauce is smooth.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the deviled eggs in the casserole.
- Top with buttered bread crumbs.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
