Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 3 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup water
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Brown the pork chops on both sides in a skillet and place in a shallow baking dish.
  2. Mix the bread crumbs, chopped onion, melted butter, 1/4 cup water, and pepper; spread this mixture over the pork chops.
  3. Blend the soup with 1/3 cup water and pour the mixture over all ingredients in the baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until the pork is tender.
