Ingredients

  • 1 baked and cooled graham cracker crust (9 x 13-inch pan)
  • 2 to 3 bananas
  • 1/2 gallon Neapolitan ice cream, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup oleo
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 package prepared Dream Whip
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice bananas and arrange them on the graham cracker crust.
  2. Layer sliced Neapolitan ice cream on top of the bananas.
  3. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the ice cream and freeze until firm.
  4. Combine chocolate chips, oleo, powdered sugar, and evaporated milk in a saucepan.
  5. Cook and stir until the mixture thickens, then remove from heat and add vanilla. Allow to cool.
  6. Pour the cooled chocolate sauce over the ice cream layer and freeze again.
  7. Spread prepared Dream Whip over the frozen dessert.
  8. Optional: Fold in crushed pineapple or strawberries before topping with Dream Whip.
  9. Freeze until ready to serve.
