Bar-Be-Cups are savory mini biscuit cups filled with flavorful seasoned ground beef and topped with melted cheese, perfect for a quick, crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced dried onion
  • 1 can tender flake biscuits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and minced dried onion to the beef. Mix well.
  3. Place each biscuit into the cupcake section of a cupcake pan and press out to line the sides.
  4. Do not grease the pan.
  5. Spoon the meat mixture evenly into each biscuit cup.
  6. Fill any empty cups halfway with water to prevent warping.
  7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 400°F until the tops of the biscuits are golden.
  8. Remove from oven and turn off the heat.
  9. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the tops of the biscuits.
  10. Return to the oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
