Ingredients

  • 2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (16 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 (16 oz) can kidney beans
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp chopped jalapenos

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped jalapenos, cooking for 1-2 minutes to release flavors.
  4. Add the crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, and brown sugar. Stir well to combine.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook uncovered for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
