Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon instant minced onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 pound flank steak

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, lemon juice, vegetable oil, minced onion, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place the flank steak in a container or marinating pan.
  3. Pour the marinade mixture over the steak and prick the meat with a fork to allow the flavors to penetrate.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.
  5. Turn the steak over several times during marination.
