Ingredients

  • 2 (16 oz.) can French style green beans
  • 6-8 slices diced bacon
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Fry diced bacon and sauté the onion until soft.
  2. Drain the bacon and onion, then add catsup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and water. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour the mixture over the green beans in a baking dish.
  4. Crumble 1 slice of cooked bacon over the top of the beans.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
