Ingredients

  • 7 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1/4 cup rice
  • 1/4 cup celery
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger and onion in a skillet.
  2. Drain grease.
  3. In a greased casserole, layer hamburger, potatoes, rice, celery, tomatoes, kidney beans, and Cheddar cheese.
  4. Make at least 2 layers, then pour water over the top.
  5. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
