Batter Whip Rolls are soft, fluffy yeast rolls with a light texture and slightly sweet flavor, perfect for breakfast or as a side for hearty meals. Suitable for all occasions.

- Pour the warm water into a large mixing bowl. Add the yeast and let stand a few minutes until dissolved.
- Add half of the flour, sugar, salt, and soft shortening to the bowl. Add the egg and beat at medium speed or by hand until smooth.
- Stop the mixer and add the rest of the flour. Stir by hand until the flour disappears and the batter is smooth.
- Scrape batter from the sides of the bowl. Cover with wax paper and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Drop the risen batter into a greased muffin pan. Let rise to the top, about 20 minutes.
- Bake in a hot oven at 425°F until golden brown, approximately 20 minutes.
