Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 teaspoons minced onions
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar (optional)
  • 6 tablespoons minced onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, oatmeal, milk, minced onions, salt, pepper, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and minced onion.
  3. Mix until well blended.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs of desired size and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine catsup, water, and vinegar if using; stir well.
  6. Pour the sauce over the meatballs or serve on the side.
  7. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes until cooked through.
