Ingredients

  • 8 oz. minced clams
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. Drain the minced clams and reserve the liquid.
  2. Add water to the clam liquid to make 1 cup.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the liquid, butter, poultry seasoning, and salt.
  4. Heat until boiling.
  5. Add the flour and cook until the mixture forms a ball.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  8. Stir in the minced clams.
  9. Drop teaspoonfuls of the dough onto greased cookie sheets.
  10. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  11. Serve warm or cold.
